I’m an intuitive cook who learned by doing, watching and working with my father at our family restaurant; cooking for several catering company’s and restaurants in NYC and taking classes at ICE and the Natural Gourmet Institute.
My passion for cooking with fresh, local ingredients led me to pursue an M.A. in Food and Culture from NYU. While in school, I worked as the Director of Communications for a farmers market organization and volunteered at Edible Schoolyard in Brooklyn. Ironically, while surrounded by all things food and agriculture, I became very ill and couldn’t even enjoy eating. I saw several doctors and specialists, who all prescribed a litany of medications. This didn’t feel right to me, so I decided to read everything I could about gut health, enrolled in nutrition classes and eventually became a student at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, where I learned a more holistic approach to wellness. Now, I combine my love of cooking and healthy living to help clients uncover the delicious foods and lifestyle habits that support their unique biochemistry and circumstances.

I’d love to show you how food can transform your life.

OUR CHILDREN LEARN FROM WATCHING; EATING HEALTHY ISN’T JUST ABOUT US. IT HAS A RIPPLE EFFECT.
I don’t believe in dieting; I believe in creating lasting change…
Most approaches to healthy eating dwell on calories, carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. Instead of creating lists of restrictions and good and bad foods, I coach my clients to explore basic improvements and implement gradual changes during our work together. As these pieces accumulate, my clients find these changes collectively create a much larger impact than they originally anticipated. We work on what they want to improve within the circumstances of their unique situation.
